Currently im using DSLR Sea&Sea MDX-D300 housing and i'm wondering if i use Optical Dome port for tokina Fisheye 10-17mm is it necessary to get the SX Extension Ring or can i use the Optical Dome port by itself. Any differences with or without the SX Extension Ring? will it flood my housing without the SX Extension Ring?

Sea&Sea has tested different Port configurations for the Tokina 10-17mm lens. It is recommended to use the SX Extension Ring (50261) with the optical Dome Port (30104) for best image quality. By not using the SX Extension Ring, you may reduce the quality of your image, but in no way will this cause the housing to leak.
