Ladies and Gentlemen,

My LDS approached me with an offer of a rebuilt (Brand new seals) used OS Systems drysuit. They offered it to me for $350. I am unsure of the model, but it is a shell suit with a woolly bear, rubber feet/soft boots, and rear entry.

I am a Michigan diver, and I have been making about 50 dives a year (all in cold water). I am also a college student, so money is very tight.

Can anyone tell me if:
a) this is a good deal
b) you have any experiences with this brand or type of shell suit?

Thanks a TON!

I am not a pro but I have started shopping around for a dry suit. No experience with that brand BUT the price seems good from what I have seen. If you pass on it can you send me the number for the shop? I may be interested.

I bought a similar OS drysuit about 4 years ago. Mine is front entry though. If it has the rubber inner shell as mine does they are a piece of cake to patch. I had no problems with mine. Just replaced seals on it. I use it for work now so it gets a lot of use. $350 is a good price if it has new seals.
