I have received the DSS valve. My girlfriend took it into our LDS and they said it won't fit. They sent her home with another opv that I can check out before buying it. After a bit of looking, it seems like the DSS valve would work if the bladder flange was intact, but although the old flange is still inside the bladder, all the threads are snapped off (which is how the original breakage occurred).

So, now I need a bladder flange to tie it all together. It seems so integral to the assembly that I may have assumed it would be included with the valve. Learning...

Also, the tech at the LDS said that BC wrenches aren't necessary to assemble it; that I could do it myself using a rubber glove for extra grip. Anyone else use this method?
