Panansonic GS-500 / Equinox Pro-Pak 6 WITH White Blance Controls

I spoke with Equinox about their underwater housings the other day and they indicated they could add additional mechanical controls to the Pro-Pak 6 to control the joystick and hence get to the white balance settings on a Panasonic GS-500. I asked them for references so I could talk to the owner(s) but as yet no information.

Has anyone had this feature added to the Pro-Pak 6 and, if so, what has been your experience relating to usability?
