Good luck with that. Seriously, I'm not seeing how this is going to go well for you. The terms would almost surely be A) you send owner the full replacement value of camera, B) owner ships you camera at your cost, C) you use it then ship camera back at your cost, and D) owner verifies camera undamaged and returns your money less $100. Unless you get lucky and find a fool who will bear all the risk.
I think you'll fare better to just buy a new (or used) camera, use it, then sell it.
