Congratulations Bappelt. How long have you been at it? My DM kit just came in last week. I'm showing up at Open Water class this weekend to help lug gear, help students with weights, getting gear on, etc. (buddy stuff).

I started taking the academic classes in April. There are eight of us in the class and scheduling everyone with their work schedules is stretching it out some but I'm in no hurry.
I know one person who started the DM last year and one guy who is doing it with me. I think my instructor said there is 2 other people starting and one person already doing it. So that means 5, maybe 6, people including me.
I plan on taking my time as well. Might finish sometime next year.
