Playa del Carmen: Beach Reclamation Project

Hello Playa Divers!

I'm curious to know how the recent Beach Reclamation Project in Playa has affected the reefs! I've heard a bit of 2nd talk about it and wanted to hear from those that have recently dived.

I've done around 50 dives with the majority of them in Playa del Carmen and my favorites are Chunzumbul, Jardines, and Sabalos.

I dove in Playa February's last week and everything was fine, went to the wreck and a reef (can't remember the name) and it was in excellent health (except from the lion fish) the beach indeed, was better than before
