Still here, leaving on Monday, I did my first dive with Scuba Playa downtown- great bunch of people, Alberto was our DM and I'd recommend him in a heartbeat! We dove the Jardinas (Gardens) reef, down to about 42 feet, average was 40 feet, never have seen a lobster as long as my arm!
Going to try to do one more dive before we leave, I gotta say being my first ocean dive- I'M HOOKED!
:D

Thanks for the report and congratulations on your first ocean dive. My wife and I did our first post-cert/ocean dives in Playa, and loved it! We did Jardines as the second dive on our first day, after Moc-che shallow. Tortugas and Sabalos were both good as far as marine life was concerned, and Moc-che deep and Chen-zunbul were nice as well. Have fun in Playa!
