Ron there is no way that Aquanuts sold for 20 million dollars, not even close. if they got 1 million someone overpaid.


I don't know what they got, but I bet they bought the shop for the LAND
and not for the dive business.

Land in the FL Keys can be quite pricey.


Also depends on what came with the sale. Land, inventory, dive boats, compressor, nitrox systems. etc.
 
Boy did I open a can of worms!

The dive shop I have used over the last 20 years started as a part time business in a old garage. The owner is a retired rail road engineer. Now it's his retirement hobby...
 
Hmmm... profit and diving? Didn't know the two words could be spoken together!

Don't let your wife near mine then, it took me a long time to convince her what I really needed and was able to get it :)
