The week started off as a drive down to pompano beach with UWF scuba club, 4 people in a van, 2 others meeting us down there and a full week of diving/relaxation. our dive op was "south florida dive headquarters" and they were amazing, i would recommend them to everyone going down there for a trip. a side note, diving down there ruined me since the worst viz of the week was ~50' in not so great conditions. the day before we got there viz was reported to be close to 100'.

day 1 dive 1: wreck was the rsb1 which is a 160' tender which i had a max depth of 109', a min temp of 68F. dive time of 45 min. viz was around 50ft, and this being with particulate in the water floating around.
day 1 dive 2 this was a drift dive on the reef system there which is pretty fun. most eventful part of this dive was a rather large nurse shark, ~6ft to me, 2 others said 7-8'. the boat dropped 3 of us, 1 with flag, followed the flag and picked everyone up as they surfaced. dive time of 58 min, 68' max depth, and 67F.
day 2 dive 1 this wreck was another tender which had large round concrete culvert pipes on and surrounding it which made for some interesting sightings inside them. a few portions of the stern deck had been removed and allowed for easy penetration into the belly of the wreck with only cross members for overhead. not much was inside tho, sadly. max depth 71', 67F and a dive time of 40 mins, ending with ~1600 psi due to insta buddy, but no complaints, it was still fun.
day 2 dive 2 this was another drift reef dive, and this dive was pretty much the same as the one before. 56min bottom time, 65' max and 68F water temps made it a nice easy dive.
day 4 dive 1 day 3 was canceled due to weather, so we missed out on 2 morning dives and 2 night dives, so on day 4 (friday) we decided to get out even with the not so pleasant 5' seas. wreck was "captain dan" which was by far my favorite. we dropped down the anchor line into the middle of the wreck, swam towards the stern and saw a nice spot to drop into the belly of the wreck. the rooms sat side by side and followed the length of the wreck with portholes in each, so we decided to follow through each room(4 total) and popped up in the wheelhouse; which was an amazing feeling to come up out of the dark room and see this huge wheelhouse silhouetted against the bright blue atlantic waters with tons of fish/coral surrounding us. surreal feeling. favorite sighting on this dive was 4 pretty large spiny lobster sitting under an overhang of hull/sand on the wreck. dive time was 49 min, 113' max and temp of 65F.
day 4 dive 2 this was another reef, and pretty much the same as the other two. 45 min dive, 65' max and 65F water temps.
