Portable chair/stool for donning drysuit?

What’s wrong with a folding camp chair you can get at the big box store of your choice. Add some sort of tarp and you’re good to go.

I carried one in my old Focus without issue. That argument carries no weight with me. If you’re that worried about space, pop the trunk or hatch, and sit on the edge. Tarp on the ground.

That's usually what I do. I'm starting to think I need a roof rack for my civic though.

Maybe put a rubber mat or piece of carpet over the trunk lip to cushion it some.
 
i use a milk crate to carry my lead and some other things. if i ever felt i needed to sit, i could easily just flip that over to use as a seat. but if small suv is close by, i typically just sit on the rear of the hatch opening to get my feet in / out the suit.
