Possible dive New Years weekend?

This next weekend may be a wash, but, anyone wanting to dive, I am off sat, sun, and mon. I don't drink, so no hangover. Would like to try to get wet even if it is in low vis. With a little luck and a sacrifice to the dive gods, maybe, just maybe, we might be able to breath a few breaths from the tank, and log at least one dive.

Anyway, anyone wanting to do some planning with a possible let down, I am open for any dive site, from Oregon line to Mexico Well, maybe not that far.

With 3 days we should be able to salvage one or two dives, hopefully!

Hi Rick! DazedOne and I are talking about Expressing to Avalon on Friday December 30th for a day at the Park. No rezzies made yet, so it'll be a sort of last minute thing when it happens.

Sunday the 1st: I'm leaning strongly to Expressing over to Avalon to dive with Lexy. No rezzies made yet, so... blahblahblah....

BUT, I'm thinking that both these trips are veryVeryVERY likely to happen. Let me know if either would fit into your plans and we'll connect for boats or at the Park. You've got my cell#, but PM if you need it again.

The Mainland shore has been a Wonderful place to kayak lately.

I am heading out to the outer islands on the Truth on New Years day, but am looking for some diving on the 29th or 30th. I live in Carpinteria. Keep me posted on your plans,

I may be able to hookup, it's tentative only because my family plans aren't sealed yet, so if anything, when I know more I'll jump in at the last minute.

rob_bundy come along with us if there is still vacancy on the catalina express out of Dana Point on the 29th over to Avalon and dive the Casino Point Dive Park. Fare is relatively cheap 54 bucks. Bring your own stuff.

I'm rarely able to plan a dive more than a couple days in advance. If I'm not on Ross or Marc's boats next weekend I will most likely be at Marineland Friday through Monday, weather permitting. I saw that the squid are beginning to come in at La Jolla Shores, so if there's a run at Vet's. I'll be there for night dives.

Hi Rob!

I'm on that boat December 29 with Diver_Buoy and Rick Inman. It leaves from Dana Point at 9:45 and returns 4:30. If you are leaving from Santa Barbara, of course, you'd want to take a different boat (Long Beach?) and meet us there. We're looking at a first dive between 11:30 and noon.

Sunday may be a good possible! I will get back to you this evening, for sure on this. Sounds like a plan. I need to get a couple dives in, I didn't go last weekend, for the 1st time in a long time, and I am feeling it, bad.
