Just starting the process of planning an Equador/Galapagos Island trip for next July/August. Will be traveling with two kids, 9 & 11. Good snorkelers, not yet divers. My wife & I are pretty keen to see the large animal opportunities the area has to offer.

Looks as if tour boats/trips to the islands don't really offer diving to Wolf/Darwin. Similarly, liveaboards don't really offer much top side exploration. Is this all correct? Are there some combinations (that won't break the bank for 4) I should explore further?

Would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction!

Many thanks!

Will
