My cruise ship is stopping in San Juan. Any diving recommendations?

Depends how long you are stopped for and where you are stopping. As far as I am aware, the majority of the cruise ships stop in Old san juan by the pier. typically get 2-3 cruise ships a day at times. Regardless, no good diving in the san juan coast area. If you dive puerto rico I would suggest traveling to the southwest or at least west coast (Parguerra, desecheo, mona, rincon, etc). But hey, if cloudy, silty, shallow salt water is your thing, then by all means I can hook you up with some local san juan dive ops that will glady take you there.

...
Chances are you won't have enough time since any good diving is done
hours away and traffic delays are frequent and long. If you only have an
afternoon to do it, it is risky, you might miss your boat...literally.
...
Best diving is in either the east coast or west coast, but little or nothing
espectacular near San Juan. Operators there will drive you to the east coast,
which is closer, to dive.

We have some accouonts of our delinquencies in our web page at the
