Does anyone know what the story is on the quarry in Monroe that opened up last year? I can't get their website to come up. I would like to try that place out, but with current gas prices, I do not want to drive all the way there without knowing if they are open.

Their closed to diving at this time. Roumer has it, it has been sold to some developers who are going to put condos all around it.

The quarry has been owned by a developer who has been building houses on this site for several years. The developer is now starting the condos that were part of the original plan for the quarry. Monroe dive shop was able to get a deal to use the quarry but now with the new construction, they are not able to use the quarry. Not sure if this is just this year.
