Question about Inflator Hose

I have already purchased a Scubapro Pure Single System. I've already doved twice in it and i love it.

There's just one small problem.

I use a scubapro air2 with this system. How long should my inflator hose be? right now it's really bowing outwards looking really ridiculous.

and how do you measure the hose? just the exposed black portion? or up to the fittings?
