Reccomend a place in the bahamas

So me, the GF and another couple want to go to the bahamas. All of us are pretty new divers. The girls aren't as much into the diving as us guys. So what Im looking for is a nice resort with some good boat diving close by and also has non-diving stuff for the girls on days they dont want to dive. Anyone reccomend a place?

Go to Stella maris Resort on Long Island in the Exuma's

My personal experiences with both were very good, though I favor Greenwood slightly over Small Hope. Do a search here and you'll find some stuff about both.

Yeah, and as was said, Stuart Cove's.

The irrefutable rule of diving:

1) You can get okay so-so diving with okay so-so non-dive activities.

2) You can get great diving with no topside activities.

3) You can get really bad diving with lots of topside activities.

4) Or you can go to Disney World

I rarely recommend category 3 locations, but Lucaya (Grand Bahama) such as UNEXSO or Nassau (Stuart Coves) ... they sound like they'll keep everybody happy. They sound ok for Sun Bunny GF's, but I wouldn't marry one.

Jus' me. I prefer my women wet if not just plain soggy. Hot chicks in Neoprene. What's the downside?

p.s.: keep an eye on your charge card. Lots of world class shopping!

Depending on budget, Sandals Nassau is a great choice. Have their own dive op and stuff on the resort for the girls to do. Bus to downtown is only a dollar, or was a couple years ago. Plenty of shopping there.
