One of my favorite dive snacks is pretzel goldfish. I feel like if the fish is one with you, you are one with the fish. So I substituted goldfish for half the Chex cereal in this classic snack mix.

Buddy Chex Mix
6 tablespoons / 85g butter
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (can substitute 1 T Thai fish sauce)
1 1/2 teaspoons Old Bay Seasoning
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon mild chili powder
3 cups / 750mL Corn Chex cereal
3 cups / 750mL Wheat Chex cereal
8 oz. / 225g bag pretzel goldfish
8 oz. / 225g bag cheddar goldfish
8 oz. / 225g nori rice crackers or similar snack
1 cup mixed nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 250F / 120C. Melt butter in the biggest roasting pan you have, stir in seasonings, then mix the rest until coated. Bake for an hour, stirring 3 times. Let cool on paper towels and store in an airtight container. Makes enough for a party.
