Recommendation for EFR and Rescue course

I'm looking to get my Emergency First Response and then my Rescue course. I live in Astoria, NY (near Laguardia airport) but I drive. I'm not sure if the two courses are ever combined but if they are that would be great. Can anyone who has gone through both courses recommend a dive shop or an instructor? Thanks much.

Pan Aqua on West 43rd in Manhattan has both courses. It's a quick subway ride from Astoria. They do the water part at Dutch Springs over a weekend.
