How bout this question. If I have files stored elsewhere online and want to hyperlink them with html code using the img tags. I tried specifing the width and that didn't work. Do we have the option of using code to dictate the display size of an image stored elsewhere without actually changing the file itself?

Not that I know of. You can link to you pics as clickable thumbnails or the entire photo. But that's all, AFAIK.
