I was fortunate to attend the premier of Reef Assassin this evening in Niceville, FL. The documentary's content was excellent and is worth viewing. Interestingly the premiere coincided with Congressmen Matt Gaetz introduction of the Reef Assassin Act. See the it on YouTube at:

.

The dive community is big part of the solution, let's get vocal and show our support for this worthwhile initiative as well as pressure FWC to act in a solution oriented manner to save our fishery! More information is available at ECRA Homepage.

Skyline Films, the makers of the Lionfish Documentary "Reef Assassin", are allowing me to arrange showings for Universities, Dive Groups, Environmental Organizations, Fishing Organizations, Seafood Restaurant Associations, Tourism Councils, etc..., in the Alabama Coast and the Florida Panhandle. The goal is to help people understand the seriousness of the lionfish crisis and also to build support for effective action, to save our fishery.

If you would like to arrange a showing of this Lionfish Documentary for your organization, please contact Candy Hansard at:
Admin@ecreef.org

You can follow the Emerald Coast Reef Association's facebook page to stay informed of the progress of Congressman Gaetz' Reef Assassin Bill and other fishing/diving information. https://www.facebook.com/pg/emeraldcoastreefassociation/posts/?ref=page_internal

Also, feel free to like and follow the Reef Assassin facebook page. Skyline films has already begun shooting film footage for a follow-up lionfish documentary and you can stay in the loop by following their page. Reef Assassin
