I am looking to rent two steel 100's (nitrox) and two Aluminum 100's (nitrox) in the LBTS area. Any suggestions on which shop to use?

Gold Coast Scuba has 100s, but I'm not sure if they are nitrox.

Can I ask..............
Why do you want Aluminum 100's?
I see you are from Rhode Island, and have no idea if that means anything.
AL100's are about the worst tanks imaginable for use in SoFla.

Dove those pigs for years with a ton of lead.

I am not opposed to using steel and think that may be the route I am going. The weight of the aluminum is easier to pull up into the kayak.

Scubabudie;
A couple of questions.....
Can you use DIN tanks with your regulator?
What is your Kayak?
I ask this as I have Cobra Fish & Dive kayaks, and I routinely take 2 hp 130's out (on a calmer day).
How deep are you planning on diving here from a yak?

AL 100 tanks weigh about 42 pounds or more, empty.
Steel 100 tanks weigh about 33 pounds, empty.

The advantage of Steel is a whole lot less lead weight.

Chug
Has not doved an aluminum tank in about 10+ years.

I have an yoke valve. I will be using a malibu 2. This may lead to a reason to purchase a new regulator. In RI I dive off a trident 15 and the malibu 2. Both yaks are very stable and easy to dive from. I do use 80's here.
