Last month we returned from our 1st. cruise and we loved every minute of it, including the diving. The St.Marten dive was off the ship, the dive in St.Lucia was booked by me. The St. Lucia dives were great, well run by Steves Dive centre, I would use them again. The dive centre used by the ship was not 5 star! the captain ripped into his dive crew several times, they let a diver drift out to sea, and they did not call out my name for the head count. I looked at my dive buddy in disbelief.

I usually hook up with another solo diver and hope that they have some logged dives under their belt when I travel, however I never expected this.

Wow, sounds like my dive in St Maarten. Did you dive on 2/26/13? The seas and current was very rough. We did the reef and then a wreck. My notes indicated my dive buddy was from Canada.

If you were my buddy, we held it together pretty well and kept each other safe. If that was you, I would dive with you anytime!!

Hi Joe!

Yes that was me. We never spoke of scuba board, go figure? We were in the smaller group and were buddied up before we got on the boat, that made all the diffence.

To anyone reading this, regarding looking for a buddy , talk it up on the pier, or on the shuttle bus, look for a suitable partner , its okay to ask questions but do so in a friendly manner.
