I was messing around with a satellite imaging program and cropped this image of joe's. Thought you guys might be intersted.

BTW, my son and I will be there this weekend doing our first dives since OW certs last weekend. Anyone from here going to be there?

Nice pic but not current unless Joe has moved the volley ball court.

I will be in Louisville but not diving but rather chasing a hot air balloon. If we fly over I will wave.

Cool pic! My guess would be 2002 sometime, looks to be before
the police car was sunk, which was 9/21/02. Volley ball court is
in the south instead of the east. Didn't see my truck, so this must
be a weekday photo! I'll be out there Sunday.

We're going Saturday for sure and probably Sunday too. We did have some more experienced guys that were going with us but they can't make so it will just be the two of us. I'm excited and a little bit nervous at the same time. Maybe I'll see you Sun. If you see a couple of guys in a white Dodge truck that look like they are trying to figure out what the @#$% they're doing :headscrat , that will be us! :D

Joe is not on the web. Falling Rock Scuba Park is located in Lagrange.
Information about Falling Rock can be found in this forum, directions,
quarry map and now a neat photo!

Thanks chris.

I found the directions and a Map of the site in your gallery.

Looks like a neat place.

The average depth is in the 30-40 foot range from what I can
tell? (is that right).

Anything exciting sunk in the quarry?
or other info on it?

What do they have "onsite" ? (compressor, tank rentals, shop, food, etc?)

I'm thinking I might have to make a road trip up there.

thanks.

The average depth is about what you said. I think there is a boat that is a bit deeper but not much.

A lot of things to see at Joe's..boats, cop car, 3 wheeler, golf cart..etc. OH, I forgot to mention the infamous Piranhagills that are all over the place (wear a hood!!). This place is a lot of fun.

What is onsite, that list is pretty short:
1. water
2. shelters
3. divers

There is a LDS about 15 minutes away for fills, and they are open on Sunday. Someone else will have to give you directions since I have only made it twice. Food, there is a gas station in town and I think a restaraunt.

Falling Rock is a no frills kind of place, but it is fun to dive there!
I see you've been to the Keys, just think of Joe as the kind of local
you would find in Key West. If you want to make a road trip just give
me a shout. I would be glad to show you around.
