I will be stopping in Savusavu from a cruise ship in early February and would like to find a place to do a two tank dive. The ship has arranged an excursion with the Sonaisali Resport but at $195.00 US for a two tank dive this sounds a little pricey. I did visit Matangi Island about six months and did a number of dives which were spectacular. Any place you can recommend?

You are right, US$195 for 2 tanks is very expensive diving anywhere and in my opinion, not really worth it. This is considerably higher than the usual rate so I suspect that there is a middleman somewhere making a significant profit.
If you are stopping in Suva we can take you diving here for FJ$185 for 2 tanks incl gear hire and light lunch. I should say the Suva dives are not Fiji's most scenic but if you are here and fancy a dip they are worth a couple of tanks for sure.
