hey. my name is wes. i need to get certified. i have taken all the training classes, but still haven;t done the checkout dives. i was wondering if there might be anyone around the chattanooga area, who is a licensed instructor, who might be able to go on a checkout dive with me to get me certified. thanks.

Why aren't you going with the instructor who did your class/pool work? At the very least, you'll need to get a referral from him for another instructor to complete the checkout dives for you. If you already have the referral paperwork, you might want to try posting in the Deep Dixie Divers board.

I would advise Choo Choo Dive in Chattanooga. I certified there last Aug and had an excellent experience. Now that I have moved to TN, I will be going abck to them soon!!
