It requires you remove the top cap and then the spring cap underneath. However, doing this will require it to be retuned before using again, so this may not appeal to you. Cheers.

Do you know when it was purchased? Or who serviced it last? If it was your LDS they'll know.

Understand comment about top cap. I don't have tools to open it; Sorry.

Its a 2005 regulator; serviced last year. Was a regulator used for training in pool.

I really like the D400. I have one I use on a set. They are time tested and proven regulators.
