It really is surprising how quick moderators can put the hammer down when somebody, somewhere hurts someone else's feeling who resides thousands of miles away, but when an attempted fraud is perpetrated, it is not, at a minimum, locked until further notice - or taken down temporarily.

I'm sure the real Dr "Poor" will be unable to feed his child lunch if he does not receive the zelle payment before 1: 00 pm.

Excellent question! It wasn’t locked because the volunteer staff here doesn’t monitor the board 24 hours a day. We first have to be aware of it. We normally become aware of a problem when other users report it. Interesting that of all the users in this thread that seem to be aware that there was an issue only 3 of you took a moment to hit the report button. We get a LOT of reported posts- some serious, most just minor and some nonsense. If we see a bunch of reports popping up on a single item that helps focus our attention on that issue. Once identified then we have to try and validate whatever the issue is. What may seem obvious to you may not be to a moderator that isn’t familiar with that piece of equipment or what a fair price would be.
