Does anyone know were to find the fitting chart for one of these suits? I would like to order a 7 mill 1 piece with the 3 mill vest hood combo for an up and coming trip to Munising, Michigan. I have a Bare 3 mill XL that fits well, maybe a tad long in the arms and legs. I think my limbs were shorted their proper length at birth.

I know that I should save and buy a dry suit, but I have a 13 year old son who is in need of gear as well. I will realy need to look at a wetsuit for him as he got quite chilled while diving here in a local lake. He was wearing a 2 piece farmer John/jacket combo without a hood. I will be stopping by the LDS next week to verify the best fit for a suit for this trip we are taking in August. I would like for him to wear a 7 mill one piece with a hood, but the LDS only offers 2 piece suits in his size from their rental gear. Thoughts?

Here is a scubapro size chart I copied from diveinn/scubastore:

Mitten diver as far as your son goes he was probably chilled because of the lack of hood. i would think that a 2 piece 7mm farmer john and jacket would keep him warmer than a one piece.

Bill,

While you would think that the extra rubber would be a good thing, my son does not fit into the average build size for a men's small. Since my LDS only carries a small range of suits and has a real issue with ordering anything that might not fit, we were not able to find a suit for my son. Trust me we tried on every combination of suits from small farmer Johns to farmer Janes to you name it. All of the men's suits are to big in the arms and chest area and all of the women's suits are to big in the thigh area.

I have found that Bare makes a suit designed for kids though and that there is another dive shop about 45 minutes from me who carries them. I will also be acquiring a hooded vest to layer under this suit as well.
