Does anyone out there have the ScubaToys SMB? (see: http://www.scubatoys.com/store/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=LargeSafety)

I'm curious to know if it will fit in Dive-Rite's Quick-Draw sleeve (see: http://www.diveriteexpress.com/tools/liftbags.shtml#liftsleeve)

I like the idea of protecting the SMB from abrasion, and Dive-Rite's sleeve seems just the thing, but I have no idea how well non-DR SMBs would fit in their bag.

Finally, does anyone have any observations about the ScubaToys SMB (~$40) vs. some of the other big names, such as Carter, or even the Dive-Rite SMB's (both ~$90-100)? I've looked over the specs, and honestly, I really can't see enough of a difference to justify spending more than twice the money for something that's nearly identical. The Carter bags have a nice patch of reflective tape, but I can add that for under $5... is it really just the name?

I have one in my hand right now CD. It is about 9" long when rolled up, so it might be a bit of a tight fit but I think it would work. The short side would fit fine.

It is a very well made and I would certainty recommend it. I have not seen the DR bag but this one works great and except for the reflective tape I don't see how the DR could be better.

I have both and the SMB does fit into the DR sleeve. Also, the ScubaToys SMB is very durable and does what it's supposed to do. No need to pay twice as much. I also don't know that the reflective tape is necessary. If you're looking for something for use at night, you just point your light beam into the SMB and light it up.
