I saw this forum section and figured I'd talk about the Sea Cadets, a Navy youth program that I've been in for almost 5 years. It is a military program (although there is no service obligation), and we follow navy regulations and wear navy uniforms, but I'll talk about what we have to offer in terms of diving. If you are between the ages of 12 and 18 and have any interest in the military or learning about the military, or if you have children who might be interested, you should check it out at seacadets.org or just message me. Although we do not do diving activities on a regular basis, there are a couple of summer trainings that offer certification and others that offer extensive involvement with navy diving.
