Sea&Sea Digital Camera

My friend just returned from dive trip and her New Sea & Sea camera(Ricoh) stopped working on the second dive. The internal strobe failed. After taking it out of the nice housing, the bezel around the lens fell apart! Not off to a good start.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Internal strobes are worthless UW anyway. Just tell your friend to get a nice external strobe....

I hate to hear that--I just got one. Unfortunately, the external strobe won't fire without the internal flash. It uses a fiber optic cable to trigger the external strobe.
