I have a Sony DSC-P200 and an Ikelite housing.

Looking for a strobe and not sure if the Sea & Sea YS-27 DX will mate well with the housing and/or camera. Looking at the Sea&Sea package that comes with arm/tray etc.

Appreciate any throughts or advice?

I believe the YS-27 will work with your camera. However, the YS-27 can only be fired with a fiber optic cable (which is fine for the setup your have now). If you get one now that can be fired with the FO cable or a sync cord, you will not have to upgrade your strobe if you ever upgrade your camera / housing. In the Sea & Sea line, I would look hard at the new YS-110. It appears to be about $175 more......but will save you in the long run.

HTH,
Dave

Was at my LDS today and it appears that there is no way on god's green apple to attach the S&S strobe/arm to the ikelite housing. Holes don't line up, knobs don't screw in right, etc.

The S&S package says "universal" and that it would fit "most housings."

Don't know what the market share is within this market, but I would have thought that by any measure Ikelite would be included in any definition of "most"
