Just thought I'd pass along info I rcvd from 'Save the Bay' -

Alert: Conimicut Point sea star kill another reason why Bay monitoring is key

Save The Bay Executive Director Curt Spalding, appearing on NBC-10 News Sunday, said that the massive kill is most likely the result of the recent storm. But the event focuses our need for the General Assembly to appropriate funding for effective Bay monitoring.

To view the Sunday story, follow these instructions: Click here to enter the NBC-10 Web site and choose Local Video on the menu above the video window. When the page refreshes, scroll down the list of stories on the right side to select Officials Identify Starfish Kill.
ALSO: Tune in later today (Monday) for NBC-10 News at 5:30 p.m. Save The Bay's John Torgan will be in-studio to discuss the sea star kill.
