I have been having a problem when I put my 5060 in the housing. It seems as if the shutter isn't aligned with the housing button. It looks fine. It depresses, but doesn't take the picture. All of the other buttons seem to work correctly. I have tried taking out the silicon packet thinking that maybe it was getting in the way and causing the camera to shift but, I am still having that problem. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Are you lifting up the control for the mode dial before inserting the camera and then pushing it back in place properly? If it's not sitting right that might throw the shutter button out.

Are all other buttons and dials working?

Hi Ann

Are all of the rubber cushions that the camera rests on in place ? I ask this
because one of mine went "missing" , causing the camera to be slightly mis-aligned.
This in turn caused there to be pressure on the zoom lever , which seemed to not
allow the shutter button to operate .Hope this helps .
