Second stage for deco

Quick question guys: I'm gonna set aside a couple of MK2s for oxygen bottles. I'm thinking of putting my R290s on them... For those who are used to extended decos, do you think there'd be a significant benefit of going with a better second stage?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Deco regs are not used that deep and the diver is usually not very active (ie tough to over breath)
