I just got this email from someone in the sandeaters, theres been a spill at one of the beaches heres a copy of the email

URGENT ALERT!
RAW SEWAGE
FLOWING DIRECTLY INTO MALIBU / SURFRIDER BEACH!

At 9:05am this morning, The Malibu Chapter was informed by Las Virgines
Municipal Water District (LVMWD) that there has been a SEWER MAIN break
at the Tapia Treatment Facility due to ground movement. RAW SEWAGE is
presently flowing into Malibu Creek, Lagoon, and Surf Zone. LVMWD is
presently working to install a bypass, but this may take days to resolve.

STAY OUT OF THE OCEAN UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! AVOID SURFRIDER BEACH AND
SURROUNDING MALIBU BEACHES!

The Malibu Chapter will send out another note to this listserv once the
sewer main has been repaired.

Personally, I wouldn't go ion the water at Surfrider if you paid me, especially not after a rain. That is some of the most polluted water (fed by the lagoon) on the coast
