Yes I agree with all that. But that one exploratory bite will devastate.

And yes Jaws was a great movie. For fantasy.

CAN devastate. Most humans attacked by great whites in US waters survive the attacks... although usually with visible "reminders." Divers are rarely attacked. I remember seeing the huge bite scar on the torso of a surfer who survived an attack off Pt. Conception about 35-40 years ago. I was introduced to him after seeing "Jaws" up in Santa Barbara for the first time.
 
Yeh thank God we're not on the menu.

I would love to be in the water with one someday. Under controlled circumstances.
