Hi.....I was diving Northwest Point in Provo, Turks & Caicos several years ago and noticed that it was close to shore. Is Northwest Point shore-diveable?

In a word....no! It is a long way out and the reef there is not great once you get to it. If you fancy a long surface swim the best place to shore dive to the wall is by Amanyara resort where you can get out to pleasure dome and many other sites that are used by both the day boats and liveaboards BUT it is a long swim in scuba gear.

Thanks, baitballer....do you go to Provo often or live there?
