Got fortunate this week and was able to shore dive RioMar in Vero beach Monday and Pepper Park Tuesday. I have a full write up on my blog with some new pics & videos from my new camera. All in all, great start to the season, looks like we may be able to do some diving Tuesday. Fingers crossed very tightly. have tomorrow off, but it is looking rough. still new with the camera and working it out. Massive amounts of sea cucumbers. Saw 3 nurse sharks, got a cool conch fight on tape, fireworm and flounder plus the usual. Saw plenty of egg bearing lobsters, good sign for summer I hope! Saw a few large bugs, everyone missed this season.

be careful while at Pepper park...idiot boaters within 30 feet of divers with flag.
Hit my blog in signature below for full writeups, pics and vids. All in all a fabulous start to what we like to call dive season. I am thinking skin diving in no time!

Very nice, and even bookmarked your blog.

thanks, love the whole shore diving thing and hubby bought me a camera from Gold Coast last time we were in LDBS, LOVE IT!

hehe, very nice. I'm sadly stuck up in Jax but trying to move further south for shore diving (boat diving gets way to expensive).

I am curious though, do the creatures pick up later on in the year?

definately, this was a poor dive for creatures. we love LDBS and see 1000's every dive with lots of color and variation of species and size. Looks like I'm gonna do Blue Heron Bridge for an early Easter am dive. Hit water by 9:30 am. 2 hour drive!

Yah, so want to move further south just for better Shore Diving opportunities.

I'm still saving up for the new BP/W. I am hoping to get out this year, but if not, 100% sure for next year. Since I got a new car the gas mileage on it is a TON better than my truck and the travel cost in gas alone has been cut in 1/2.
