Here's the link to a new video I uploaded today. I was checking out some new regulators for my sidemount rig. Always fun.

Cheers.

Captain CaveMan:
Nice video. love the side mount. I wana try that setup up here in the great lakes.

When I film in open water (in Florida), I use a pair of 51cf steel tanks. They are about the size of al40's. Boy do I get weird looks from the other divers. Once a diver thought that the sidemounts were nitrogen bottles to pressurise the camera housing:confused:   ? He then told me not to forget to mount MY TANK!! We had a chuckle as I explained it to him. I ended up giving him a DVD of the shark feed he was in, because I felt kinda bad correcting him in front of his wife:wink: .

Cheers :D

Great video. Where in Ginnie is that?

Looks like the ballroom

Cool video. Makes your profile wider but thinner an advantage in the cave? Easier to balance in OW?

There are a whole raft of reasons sidemount works. The short answer to your questions are:

1) Thinner and wider is better than thicker and narrow in most caves.
2) Depends. Some people find the trim and balance to be criminal others fight with it until they give up.

Sorry, saw Ginnie and I was just thinking Devil's.
