if you buy a few bottles at a time, you can really cut down on the per-bottle
shipping costs

the Laphoraig is $39.99 and the HIghland Park is $36.99

Hmmm ,, if I admit to that I might sound like a heavy drinker ...

:54:

I had a terrible night:
  • Glen Deveron 10yo
  • The Edradour 10yo
  • Glenrothes Select
  • Cragganmore Portwood
  • Glenmorangie Burgundy
  • Springbank 10yo (cask strength, Campbelltown)
  • Bowmore 1988 (cask strength)
  • Ardbeg 1996
Was forced by the missus to take a bottle of Cragganmore Portwood home as well. :11:
The horror of seeing lots of bottles of Laphroaig 10yo for less than $30... :crying:

Shocking, isn't it... :D

Did I mention that she also drove me back home? :)

ah... well... sad day today

last night i came almost to the end of my first bottle ever of Laphroaig 10

tonight, it shall be emptied ...

:crying:

El Orans: you lucky bugger

Andy: if you're into the <$40 thing, see if you can replace the Laphroaig with some Connemara (mentioned above). It's not strictly scotch, since it's made in Ireland, but is made from all the same ingredients and would likely be to your liking, given what you say you like so far.

I'm pretty sure BevMo has it.

well... a very sad moment... just finished my bottle of Highland Park 12

and now, i have no more single malt in the house

makes me want to go make fun of the new divers at the university swimming pool
