Sounds ridiculous but a new tube of crazy glue is the way to go cutwise, it will fix up things that are worthy of stitches long enough to finish another dive.

A good place to look for what to put in it may be the kits DAN sells. The DAN kits range from small to large: https://www.diversalertnetwork.org/eseries/source/orders/index.cfm?task=1&CATEGORY=FIRSTAID&DESCRIPTION=First%2DAid%20%26%20Safety%20Equipment&CFTOKEN=39912215&continue=1&SEARCH_TYPE=find

This kit is probably a decent design to model, seperate different types of items into zip locks to make it easier to find what you are looking for: https://www.diversalertnetwork.org/catalog/products/631-2300.html

BTW I know you said you wanted to keep it in your dive bag, but what sort of diving do you do in what sort of areas, is it far enough away from civilization you might need O2?

Most item fit in a good sized Nalgene bottle. it is water tight crush proof and easy to throw in a dive bag.:14:

That is an awesome idea, i'm going to try that.

i second the super glue. get a couple 4x4 bandages. opa's. cpr mask, gloves, trauma shears, 02 bottle if you can get your hands on one. plus your medicines/eyedrops/nasal decongestants.

First things first. Super glue is great but you HAVE to be able to clean the wound first. If you can't then you need real medical Tx. Closing a dirty Lac will ensure a nasty infection.
You need to ask yourself two things. What do I know and what am I trying to treat? Walking around with a bunch of crap you dont know how to use is near pointless. The first and best thing you can put in your first aid kit is training. Anything is better than nothing. The DAN dive FAK is pretty good and has a marine related FA book in it if Im not misstaken. Read the book before you need to use it. Other than that kit, it's hard for me to recomend any premade kit as they are all full of never used crap.
