I've been using this off and on since I first saw it. A lot of time but well worth it for those real wall hangers. As seen HERE Try it !

http://focusmagic.com/ has a program for around $60. that auto adjusts motion blur and out-of-focus blur.
It installs as a stand alone program and also installs a plug-in for Photoshop at the same time that shows under Filter>Focus Magic.
I tried the trial version and found it to be a little better and easier to use in most cases than the Filter>Sharpen>Unsharp Mask already in Photoshop. It did do a good job on both motion and focus blur.

Would it work with elements too?

Very interesting, it's a very similiar technique to what I use. I'll give it try next time I need that trick. The way I do it is with a magic lasso and a new layer.

My tricks are here.
