Are there any smoke-free liveaboards or other dive operations on the Northern (or anywhwere else along the) Great Barrier Reef? I found one in New Zealand, but that's a bit too far to swim...

Cheers,

K.

Hi, Ken:

We're non-smokers and have done a number of liveaboards. Non have been officially "non-smoking", but we've never had a problem with room odor nor, come to think of it, people sitting around the salon smoking. Any smokers seem to do it out on the aft deck. We are fairly sensitive to smoke and it's just never been an issue. Maybe we've just been on the right trips. We did the Nimrod Explorer on the GBR a couple of years ago. We recommend it highly.

Let's get wet! :palmtree:

Everyone smokes outside on the deck with the breeze blowing so it really was never a problem...
