This is not directly scuba related, but since I've noticed a lot of cross-over between sailplane/glider pilots and scuba divers, I thought I'd mention this for anyone in SoCal who's interested.
The Soaring Society of America is having their annual convention at the Ontario Convention Center from Wednesday 2/9 to Saturday 2/12. If you've ever been interested in flying sailplanes and glider flying this is a good chance to check out what's happening in the sport. You can also find out about local clubs/operations (for all that free time you're not diving).
