You can, but it hurts. The suit gets real pinchy. Also, there are huge boyancy changes. It's not a lot of fun unless you're doing very shallow dives (less than 30 feet).

Doesn't exactly sound safe, does it? I'd really advise against trying it.
 
All I meant was the fin question was seperate from the technique question and yes my technique is rotten. Yesterday, for some unknown reason, I was spiralling around during my descents and I couldn't control it. I doubt it had a thing to do with my fins though.
And no I do not free dive in my drysuit :wink:
