I don't know if anyone is interested but I just upgraded my Sony SR11 64MB drive with KingSpec 128GB 1.8" ZIF SSD and everything seems to work after configuring the SSD. The solid state drive was ordered off E-Bay and doubles the storage capacity of the SR11 effectively making it an SR12 except with solid state storage.

I would like to do the same to my SR11. What did you have to do to configure the SSD after installing it? How is battery life with the SSD?

With NP-FH100 meter reads @260 minutes for battery life and @928 minutes record time in HD FH mode. Take care when inserting ribbon cable as there is a small latch at either end that will toggle up to allow the cable to gently pull out. I simply pulled out the cable and forced the end into the new ssd. It didn't fully seat and I received an error indicating the storage could not be seen. I then snugged the connection and received the error that the storage needed to be formatted. I then went into the menu and "media format" then "hdd" and it formatted in about 24 seconds.
