Looking to get the rx100 ii or g7x. Not that interested in video side. Which do you think would be best option. Camera shop recommends g7x re better white balance options and simple operation underwater. Quite happy to learn to use either and intend to buy and pair with sea and sea ys1 strobe. Any advice or recommendations welcome.
 
Both cameras are fantastic.
Video is considered better on the Sony but if that's not important to you than the G7X may be the right choice.
The biggest advantage for the G7X is the availability of the Fantasea housing which is a terrific housing for a very affordable price.
The bundle with the YS-01 is a perfect fit and more than enough to create excellent images straight away.
