I recently came back from a aborted dive in hollywood fl. started to empty out my gear bag and noticed a oil type substance on my gear. I carry a spare set of gauges along with two other set ups in seperate reg bags. so i only have that spare set in my gear bag. can they get a oil leak if they are filled with a type of oil. I hooked them up to one of my tanks and the pressure gauge works. and the compass seems to be working but the glass in the compass seems to have a wet look on it on the inside... Has anyone else had a situation similar?

Yeah done that and figured it was my compass. It somhow leaked out. But oh well who needs a compass right lol...
